A punk-rock star attitude talent, edgy DJ/Producer Maximus 3000 lives up to his mixed background and artistic diversity in his DJ sets and his in-depth work as a co-founder of Miami based label Sister 8025 Records. Maximus 3000's unique formula as a spinmaster focuses on the new wave of electro house, fusing elements of the early 80's, classics and modern disco house. His sets are always high-energy, unexpected and intriguing, almost as much as his look.
Maximus' versatility in the music and entertainment industry is a staple on the South Florida scene. Equal parts a DJ, VJ, musician and music producer, this multi-media enigma is a bundle of creativity and knowledge of dance music as a whole. That same versatility has welcomed him to headline parties in different crowds and styles. From sexy high-energy lounges and circuit parties to mega dance clubs, Maximus' vocal and electro house beats have always had the power to uplift and dominate the crowds.
Though only 27 years of age, Maximus 3000's experience is vast and well recognized. Maximus has spun in signature South Florida venues such as Score, Splash, Tantra, Soho Lounge, Deck23 Nightclub and Boom Nightclub in Fort Lauderdale, just to mention a few. Also, as co-owner and founder of his own record label, Maximus acts as both A & R for all signed artists and manages the live alternative electronic group Dance Planet X, representing his vocalist and business partner Monserrattz. Maximus has co-directed and produced with great success several independent music videos for his label as well as continuing his music production work in his Miami studio insatiably.
In his successful career, Maximus 3000 has shared the stage with some of the most prestigious electronica heavy hitters artists such as B-52's, Josh Riptide, Jes of Motorcycle, Fred Schnieder, Klubjumpers, Mike Mucci, Michael M and Randy Freiss. His performances are considered unique, warm and mind blowing, just as is the direction of his work as an innovative and trend-setting producer. Currently, Maximus is finalizing details to host his own weekly show named Electro Pulse on www.1club.fm, (voted and nominated best internet/satellite radio station in the world by the renowned IDMA Awards).
When asked about his plans for 2008, Maximus 3000 explains emphatically : "I am working hard on bringing to the the scene a different concept of house music that has the old-school influence and a completely fresh approach and style. I will keep on bringing my electro-vocal and upbeat sounds to the decks and continue with my work as a producer and remixer with some of the most talented national and international artists."
