Pennsylvania born DJ/Producer Daniel Kristopherre is admired by his cutting-edge and innovative approach to dance and house music. Daniel is not only an experienced and extra-talented spinmaster but a performer with a captivating personality on and off of the turntables. His sets don't ease a break to the dance floor nor to himself. Just to see him performing on stage is a show of its own that insures you a memorable club experience on the dancefloor. The energy that comes out of his ridiculously intense beats and his broad sound selection don't have a definite description, but they do emphasize his natural ability to bond with his followers, achieve a special empathy for what makes them move and create a sacred relationship of joy that is not achieved by many artists.
Daniel was born in Sunbury, a small town in central PA and went to school in several different cities due to his father being a soldier in the US Army. He went to college at Susquehanna University in PA. Three years ago and with the intention of completing his degree in philosophy, Daniel decided to move to South Florida. "I realized my dream to work in dance music to be irresistible, and decided to continue to focus to pursue a career in the music industry", he commented.
When asked about how he got involved in this competitive business, Daniel explained: "I started DJing in 1999 at the city of Wilkes-Barre's biggest club, Amnesia, simply due to the absolute love at first sight I had for house music. I grew up listening to different styles of music through both my parents, each at different ends of the musical spectrum. Because of this fact, my style is very diverse and ranges from deep and soulful through European funky house and big room electro and tribal sounds peppered with samples and loops. Also, my techier side loves to come out in the late night hours of my sets", he said with his usual self-confidence and well-spoken manners.
Since then, Daniel's enthusiasm, abilities and over the top performances have been taking place in some of the most prestigious venues around the country. From mega-clubs in Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey to his most current residences at Voodoo Lounge and Jet Set Nightclub in Fort Lauderdale, the creativity of his sound and techniques have a reputation in Florida that he has earned with all merits. Daniel has also shared the spotlight with other world-class DJs such as Junior Vazques, The Cube Guys, Gene Farris and D-Fuse, just to mention a few names. "Sashi, Keoki, Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, Sander Kleinenberg and Deep Dish, are some of the maestros who have notably influenced my career", he added.
About the next big thing in the club scene, Daniel pointed out: "I think the parties will be multi-sensory, multi-room events where guests are carried to a whole new experience filling both their eyes and ears with syncopated sounds, art, fashion and emotional material to entertain our collectively dwindling attention span. These days, the scene is filled with artists comfortable with their superstar status who do not try to push the envelope of performance anymore. That's why so many of these shows have become so predictable and tired, and that has affected the industry in general", he concluded.
Most people don't know that Daniel has earned a black belt in karate, a sport that has fueled his discipline and drive to complete anything he sets in his mind to.
